Pittsburgh International Airport offers several parking options to fit your needs. These include short-term, long-term, and economy lots.
For passengers who need to park for a short period, the Short Term Garage is the best option. It’s located right across from the Landside Terminal.
Short Term Garage
The Short Term Garage at PIT is a great option for passengers who need to park their cars near the airport terminal. This garage is a short walk from the terminal building and offers hourly parking rates.
The first hour is free. After that, you will pay $2 for the second hour.
This lot is ideal for passengers who have carry-on luggage and are on a budget. It is the cheapest of the parking facilities at Pittsburgh International Airport and a shuttle service runs to the terminal every 10 minutes or so.
Customers can pay for parking at exit turnstiles in the on-site garages, surface lots and at the shuttle stop with their credit card. In addition, there are pre-pay stations located inside the terminal building, by baggage claim and along the moving walkway to the parking lots.
Long Term Lot
There are several different parking options at PIT Airport, and each one has its own special features and pricing. Choosing the right option can be daunting, especially if you’re unfamiliar with the airport.
Luckily, there are many convenient off-airport parking lots and garages near the airport that offer guaranteed parking spots and advanced reservations online. They often charge less than on-airport lots, offer free shuttles, and are easier to navigate.
The Long Term Lot is a great option for those who need to park for a few days. This lot is farther away from the terminal than the Short Term Lot, but it is still a good choice because of its affordable prices and free shuttle service.
Extended Stay Lot
Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) is the second largest airport in Pennsylvania, serving nearly 10 million passengers. It can be hard to find the right parking for your needs at such a busy facility.
To help alleviate the stress of parking, PIT has several pre-pay stations to speed up the process for customers. These stations can be found in the landside terminal, along the moving walkway to the parking lots and near the parking shuttle.
Another option is the long-term lot located in the garage across from the terminal building. This option is a great choice for travelers who are staying at the airport for a short time. The parking rate is $2 for the first hour and $4 for each additional hour.
Gold Key Lot
If you travel out of Pittsburgh Airport on a frequent basis, it may be worth paying extra for an on-site parking spot at the Gold Key Lot. This is a reserved daily parking garage that can be booked up to 2 hours in advance.
The Gold Key Lot is a convenient option for travelers who need to park close to the airport terminal and don’t mind the short walk from their car. There’s also free shuttle service available to and from the terminal.
If you want to save money while staying safe and secure, off-airport parking lots are an ideal choice. They’re usually more affordable than on-site lots and offer a variety of services like car wash, car care, and even car warming services!
Cell Phone Lot
The Cell Phone Lot is a relatively new amenity in the United States. They were created to keep people from idling in their vehicles in and around airport terminals, which can cause traffic and congestion. Many of the first cell phone lots were located in West Coast airports, such as Los Angeles International and Seattle-Tacoma International, but today they are found at many of the major airports throughout the country.
PIT’s Cell Phone Lot is located within the Extended Economy Parking lot in Terminal D. The first hour of free parking is available, after which $2 applies for each additional hour. After that, the daily rate of $8 applies. This is a great option for passengers who are on a budget, and it allows drivers to check real-time Airport Arrivals while they wait.
